Teleplays
Sure, television is distraction.
But television is also imagination.
Television is Joy. Tension. Laughter. Hope.
Suffering. Inspiration. Comfort. Memory.
And if television is all of those things,
then for our sanity,
it seems okay if television is also
distraction every now and then.

Sunny Day Hospital (Original Teleplay)
Psychiatric patients? Yes.
A staff full of zany characters locked in the hospital with them until it’s time to clock out? Also yes.
The stage is set for hilarity and sweet drama about the range of people who find themselves in Sunny Day Hospital.
Ever wondered what goes on in a psychiatric hospital, and who the souls are that lock themselves in with the patients all day? Here’s your answer, in a mockumentary-style comedy following an ensemble of nurses, hospital aides, security guards, and hospital administrators trying to hold onto their sanity as they’re tasked with addressing the sanity of others.
Full of love and free of judgment — except when it’s for absurd giggles — Sunny Day Hospital grapples with the tender side of mental health challenges and the adorably unhinged staff who rise to meet them.
Kind of a Comeback (Original Teleplay)
What happens if you’re past your athletic prime, but you still have some fire left in you? What if you make… Kind of a Comeback?
Ricky Soto and Melanie Stevens grew up boxing in the same gym — The Olympic Legacy Club (O.L.C.). Now in their thirties, Ricky and ambitious boss Melanie work to transform the O.L.C. into a school-to-olympian pipeline: students get to the O.L.C. before sunrise for training, stay for school, and then resume training in the evening.
O.L.C. staff Lamar and Phillip encourage Ricky to get back in the ring for the publicity it would bring — Ricky refuses, insisting his boxing days are over, but he loves coaching.
However, one evening, Melanie climbs back into the ring —against Ricky’s advice — with a tough amateur prospect just to get a workout. Melanie gets the taste of competition on her tongue, and she hungers for more. Melanie throws her hat in the ring: what if she gets back into the fight, for real?
Kind of a Comeback is a family comedy about student-athletes, tired adult-athletes, and the inspiring as well as hilarious hunger for greatness through sports.
